Academics Overview
Individualized Support
HELPING BOYS REENGAGE WITH LEARNINGAn Academic Program That Builds Confidence and Competence
Valley View offers a traditional academic setting with the flexibility and support students need to rediscover success in school. Many students arrive with a history of challenges or avoidance. We meet them at their current level and help them rebuild skills, habits, and belief in themselves.
Our campus includes two academic buildings with 10 classrooms, a large art studio, a computer lab, makerspace, gymnasium, and a library. Students attend five morning classes and two electives after lunch.
Clear Expectations, Individualized Instruction, Lasting Growth
Boys do well when expectations are consistent, instruction is personalized, and teacher relationships are strong. Our faculty know how to re-engage reluctant learners and create classrooms where effort is noticed and progress is celebrated.
Valley View’s academic program features:
Small class sizes with individualized attention and differentiated instruction
Teachers who communicate and adapt to student needs
Preparation and support for assessments, plus tutoring when needed
Special education instruction for students who need remediation or extra support
A knowledgable and experienced academic team that can skillfully support learning differences.
Credits are fully transferable, and the curriculum is reviewed and approved annually by the North Brookfield Public School District.
