Juliana Anderson, BS
Biology, Chemistry, Health Sciences
Juliana Anderson teaches Biology, Chemistry, and Health at Valley View School and occasionally assists with Physical Education for students in middle school through tenth grade. This year marks her fourth year teaching and her fourth year at Valley View.
Juliana earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from Western New England University, with a strong academic focus on medicine and chemistry. Prior to becoming a teacher, she gained extensive experience in both education and science, working as a tutor, teaching assistant, and lab assistant in high school and college settings. She also spent several years working as a pharmacist intern, where she discovered her passion for teaching through educating patients about their health.
Juliana is especially drawn to the therapeutic boarding school environment, where she values the opportunity to support students as they build confidence, develop new skills, and discover their strengths. She finds it deeply meaningful to be part of a community that offers the guidance and support young people need to thrive. Her work is shaped by a personal understanding of how impactful it can be for students to receive the kind of support she wished she had at their age.
